Not that math isn't interesting, but you'd be able to take off more from the institution itself as a CS, physics or engineering student, for example. If pure mathematics is your true passion, go for it. MIT is still a top tier institution and you'll surely have a great experience, but I advise you to look out for European unis for your postgraduate studies.
