Hi everyone. A few friends and I started back a study group over the summer and have gone through a couple topics. Now we've decided to take a look at reading Brian C. Hall's book on Lie Algebra, Lie Groups, and Representation Theory.

We meet once weekly over VC/text to talk about the book. But if anyone is interested, you're welcome to join. We haven't started the book yet (in case anyone here wants to join), but plan to talk maybe a little about the applications to physics without watering down the pure mathematics.
