The function that the cells it creates are designed to do. It can't feed neurons or whatever and when they die, you die.

I think that's fair to say. Neurons don't regenerate as often as other cells so I don't believe the neurons themselves will stop working first. However, other problems, such as a stroke or asphyxiation, will lead to neurons starving and ultimately brain death.

ok so what about extreme exposure cases that are revived? if neurons is the cause as it might be, then cold cases suggest that neuron metabolism is closer to to an answer.

I don't know the cases you're talking about but if someone gets revived, his bodily processes were still working enough to keep his neurons alive. When someone is "revived," usually his heart stops beating and he is passed out. The electrical activity in the brain is still going and won't stop until he actually dies from starved neurons. Once real brain death occurs, you can't get revived.

so starved neurons, but cold plays a part, there have been +30 minutes submerged in sub zero water and they lived [most cases a bit fucked up, but a few where they came back just fine]
so cause of death ultimately might be neuron death but then the question is what are causes of neuron death?

Since you create yourself essentially from some dna strands, why is not possible to keep replicating and repairing the DNA, cells, organs and live forever. What is this requirement to die and regnerate the same thing in another version? Once DNA is known and documented permanently artificially, it should be possible to just regenerate and live forever. Someday this will be possible, be we are born too early.

You die when your blood no longer brings oxygen to your cells. This forces them into anaerobic metabolism. This in turn creates and acidic atmosphere which leads to cell death. No matter how you "die" this is the end result.
