Any good sources on problem solving - internet or books?
I don't know where to start if I want to increase my problem solving skills.

Be born with a high IQ, that's it I tried all the books and got nowhere still can't solve novel problems. But now I've seen every permutation of the standard brain teaser problems so at least I can pretend to be able to solve them quickly.

"Problem-solving skills" is such a non-skill. What kind of problems are you trying to solve? Once you can answer that question, go solve those types of problems. It's a simple as it gets, it's how most human being "get better."
