Can someone who actually knows a thing or two about vaccines answer this question about Covid for me?
I'm reading that the Mink mutation in Cluster Five changed the structure of the spike protein. I'm reading that the antibodies can no longer attach to the virus thanks to the change.
Do antibodies really only attach to one singular part of the virus? I thought vaccine created antibodies were made to be nonspecific in case this kind of thing happens. Isn't this why the flu vaccine keeps changing?
