Does the photon "bounce" straight back?

It can't be absorbed and re-emitted by BOTH super reflectors simultaneously, can it?

Can a photon be split into two virtual photons to satisfy this scenario?

Corner is a mathematical concept, you can't hit it with a photon beam, you will simply hit one of the sides every time.

Mathematically, if corners don't exist, explain imaginary numbers.

Seem pretty cornery to me. They aren't forward or backward on the number line, they go somewhere else.

Not to mention we depict 90 degree angles on graphs all day long, but that's not raw mathematics, hence my imaginary number reference.

Good point.
I suppose that it is an ill informed opinion/word usage to describe a substance in this way.

I will think more on this, and provide a proper definition of what I mean. I am unsure if this imaginary material is capable of even satisfying what I am trying to portray.

I am trying to ask a more complicated question, than my own knowledge base is capable of understanding at this moment.

It really depends on how this imaginary surface was made. First imagine it as being circular, with the radius effectively lying on the trajectory of the photon. Clearly it would just bounce radially backwards.
However, in the situation of a 90 degree corner? If it was perfectly smooth on the atomic scale and there was a 90 degree sudden angle on the atomic scale, most likely this would fall under the uncertainty principle and it would just inevitably hit one side or the other first, but still be essentially on the same trajectory.
