Except that it is. If you put 50 people with blue eyes in one room, and 50 people with brown eyes in another, and give them all IQ tests, one group is inevitably going to score higher than the other. That's just sample bias.

Is it then correct to say that eye color correlates to IQ?

Correlation doenst imply causation.
You could make an argument about the link between eyecolor and IQ but that's only one variable and trying to make a strong case for the validity of it is dishonest.
I'm not sure what your point is though.

I don't even know what people want to say when they say "race". That there are differences between people of different skin colors? That we are all alike? Usually when someone makes a point about it being a "social construct" or not, its due to some motivation for absolute empathy because we are all the same, or lack there of because we are all different.
