i noticed this back in middle school. the steady A students wernt always the smartest. you could spend all week learning about trees, but at the end when the teacher asks where the forrest is they'd throw up a hand and say "you haven't taught us that yet".
it's like they've selectively breed people to pass exams while remaining stupid.
