Schizos have no ability to call bullshit on their own thoughts. Every time you imagine a what if but go "oh well it's not actually real" the schizo adds something to their genuine belief of how the world works.

my understanding is that schizoid is basically just only having the negative symptoms of schizophrenia (low motivation, flat affect, lack of interest in anything, feeling like an observer, stilted speech) without any of the positive symptoms (delusions, hallucinations). I could be wrong about this, but that is my current understanding.
