I need example uses of simple distillation other than booze or salt water. It is a simple thing but i can't find any other use case that don't slip towards other distillation methods.

Dunno how simple you want it, but fractional distillation in fuel refining is a thing.

simplie distillation is not that common.
practically no pure substances can be obtained with it.
rectification (possibly with sidestreams) is typical.

simple distillation:
cleaning pure aniline from discolorations and impurities.
removal of volatile low boilers.

the boiling temperatures must already be very far apart for a simple distillation to yield satisfactory results.

so many uses - solvent recovery, separating a liquid from a salt or other dissolved non volatile, steam distillation, if a low boiling compound is a product of a reaction and you want to drive it to completion you can set up for simple distillation, the list goes on
