The way it works is that the information about who's won a particular point is delayed slightly before it reaches the server. This allows the opportunity to bet on single points with the certainty of winning. You need to be in constant and discrete communication with your friend, and you need to be extremely well timed and quick to make the bets. Obviously, you need to make sure you are putting in a high volume of small-valued bets, and losing enough of them to keep you off the radar. Sites will start getting suspicious when you are earning tens of thousand per month off of their site (and you potentially will be earning this much). You'll do well to use several accounts with several sites. Also, this is legal in most places, but in some third world shitholes, e.g. Australia, it is highly illegal.
