Something reasonably big and average by western standards, just to be fair. Take away all fossil fuels, and let them see just how fucking wonderful their alternative "green" energy works out for them. They cant import anything made from fossil fuels, they cant manufacture anything with any component made by fossil fuels. They cant have any machines, specialists or industries that have been connected with fossil fuels. Any doctors, nurses, dentists, any other specialists, trades have to be trained on their home ground, not abroad. In fact all education and services must be contained within their green paradise. All the x ray machines, industrial pumps, pipes, electrical systems, sewerage systems, tractors, agricultural tools, machine tools, industrial lubricants, bearings, communication infrastructure, power relays, transportation systems and internet all have to be self contained and rely not one bit on any outside fossil fuel linked source. That counts distribution as well as manufacture.
I would like to see how those chuckles get along after a few years. Not hating on all of them, a few, a very few, would be perfectly fine and just accept a lower standard of living as an acceptable trade-off. But most of them would be the asshats who bitch about fossil fuels on their iphone, wearing their 3rd world manufactured clothes, while waiting at the dentist for a filling, with their car parked outside, waiting to go home to their heated, insulated, electrically wired, modern house, with a kitchen stocked full of convenience foods and imported ingredients, all on a wage they receive as as some middle tier 40 hour week working pleb. Yeah, I would enjoy watching the wake up call they would receive. The stupid fucks. Give them a few years and they would be clamoring for nuclear power plants.
