Okay but hear me out if god could come from nothing and then create the universe, why couldn't the universe just come from nothing itself? If things can exist without origin then isn't it a lot simpler for a finite and bounded universe to do so than an omnipotent deity that breaks reality by existing? I'm serious, if you can assume that thi gs don't require origins, then why does matter need a god?
