Why do you think the commoner fear pic related?

I often have a hard time trying to socialize with people and I think it's mostly because they seem to intentionally avoid the use of logical reasoning. At times it feels almost like trying to have a dialog with a simple Markov chain chatbot filled with random, mostly unconnected, ideas.
