Yeah, a lot of it would evaporate early, but from then on it's a block of ice and the only sublimation is from when some sunlight heats it up a little, or it gets too close like a Comet.
But these are massive fucking balls of ice, and proportionally, almost jack shit of it evaporates.
Now molten rock and metal are even heavier, have even lower vapor pressures, and have even stronger intermolecular bonds.
Some of it will evaporate yeah, but even molten rock has such high forces on it that it cant evaporate much that wont eventually cool down into a light gravel mist on its surface later on.
