being tall is an evolutionary disadvantage. hunting is easier when you're small and being bigger just means you need more food. sexual selection doesn't play as big a part as people think. for the majority of our history most males have had to compete with a very small number of other males, and they were mostly pretty closely related to you, so you would probably be mostly the same height anyway.
