I opened a jar of sauerkraut like pic related about a month and a half to two or maybe even 3 months ago. The label on it says "keep refridgerated eat within 10 days." I opened it and it smelled tastier than it did when I first opened it all that time ago. I tasted a lil bit of it and it tasted alcoholic! I put it on a slice of buterbrod I was making. I already ate it. would there be any ill effect? The seal on the jar was airtight by the way.
