IQ is overrated, your IQ was set at birth it is something you cannot really change.
What you can change is the amount of work, if you work towards it you will do right.

inb4 the IQ fags, yes high IQ facilitates the work, but understanding math concepts doesn't come without work.

I got a pretty high IQ, at least according to that mensa test and I feel like it might help a little with doing maths and programming. Maybe.
But that's it.
I still have to study for other classes, and I have a shit memory.
I don't think it would be as easy for me if I went to study biology, or fuckin history.
IQ is really not an accurate metric for intelligence.
It's a test to see if you're good at this exact kind of test.

also an anecdote: after my friend with a 125 tested IQ from a medical professional dropped out 3rd year comp sci and still works the same shitty job for 10 years I stopped seeing IQ as something meaningful. Really who the fuck cares? There's so many high IQ people who do nothing
