Has anybody heard of this idea, that mathematical science is the most moral theory?
I am very taken with it, for its legitimacy seems inherent in the fact of the general agreement among mathematicians and scientists, about the notations and definitions, the derivations of formulas, and the correct practice thereof.
It also seems legitimate on the basis of the commonality of symbolic isomorphisms. That is, the expression of mathematic representations is reasonably well accepted to be that upon which everybody is happy to agree. That is, there is little discrepancy between the idea of many particular numbers and sound formulas.
Once science is accepted we are all content to use said science until that time which it is upended. And then we are happy to use the new science. Is this why we trust scientists so much?
