Hey, I'm having trouble googling this so I hope you can help. I'm writing a book where a fighter pilot crashes behind enemy lines and survives and is taken to a condemned mine.

Crash to mine 1 day (over 100,000 to sea level altitude rapid descent)
Inside mine (3 weeks) with breathing apparatus. (can they eat n shit?)
Mine to sub 2 days (low altitude helo flight).
Is this too fast too slow? how fucked are her joints? Thanks.
