how do i make connections/friendships/networks so I can find an entry level job, so I can use money from that job to afford my own HPLC/GC-MS so I can one day start my own business?
i can't get experience for entry-level jobs because I can't afford an HPLC so there's no way for me to start my own small analytical business to get experience. internships not advertised around here.
saving up for an HPLC with fast food jobs would take forever.
Are professors , e.g. my research professors and grad students in the labs, a good friendship for helping you find entry-level jobs? I struggle to befriend my peers because most are pre-meds and have no interest in analytical chemistry quality control jobs.
