Anyway yes, the energy from a microwave oven can fuck up your eyes if it is not covered. But most microwave ovens are covered and don't have enough leakage to do damage.
PS: microwave radiation is non-ionizing so no you won't get cancer as you use it over the years

Speaking scientifically ofcourse. Microwaves/WiFi/5G are 2.4Ghz or multiples thereof and tuned to the absorption of heat into water.

2.4Ghz is confirmed able to rotationally excite water.

My hot take is 2.4ghz has resonance to water but that just might be my schizophrenia speaking.
