We are stuck here. Before I started my physics undergrad, I thought we had a change at getting to other solar systems. But now I know the certain impossibility of FTL I know we are doomed here. Sub luminal ships will never work. Any humans would get cancer and die long before their descendants got to the destination. Is it really this hopeless?
