So what the fuck is my problem?
I passed the admission tests for one of the most popular courses in the best university of my country without studying one single second. My score was actually so good I managed to make it into the top 5% of that year. I have always aced every test without studying, and still do. Got scholarships without studying, medals at scientific olympiads, yada yada yada basic shit you're all already tired of hearing from gifted teenagers.
On the other hand, I can't understand very basic things. Like, this one time a girl told me to touch her and I started poking her in her forehead for like a minute until she got super fucking angry at me and left my house. This other time, my father told me to cross the street twice to get to a rotisserie while he talked to his friend that we coincidentally stumbled upon, by which he meant I should cross the street right in front of me and then cross the other one, and what did I do? I crossed the street and crossed back to where I was, DESPITE BEING ABLE TO SEE WHERE THE ROTISSERIE WAS. I didn't understand how crossing it and then crossing it back would get me to the fucking rotisserie, but I trusted him. And they laughed at me for dozens of minutes after that. Understandably. I have a lot of examples of people telling me to do simple things and me not being able to understand what they mean.
