Black Holes

Hello I asked myself a question while studying on general relativism, more precisely on black holes, and if a black hole was nothing other than a planet? The mass of a black hole is huge so huge that all starlight deviates that can come into contact with, we can only perceive the colors with the light that we have projected and since a black hole deviates the deviations we simply cannot see. than a black ball but what if a black hole were in fact a planet with an extremely powerful mass due to an overpowered gravity compared to ours or that which we currently know?
