>>12271853I would say this image describes me with eerie accuracy. I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was 13. I grew up in an environment where drugs and alchohol was rampant among youth, my friends in highschool - the few I had - tried to push me to try vodka and weed. I never took them upon their offer, and I promised myself to never take any drugs, drink, smoke, even drink coffee or stuff with too much caffeine like energy drinks. And I never had, not for my entire youth and young adult life. I've never really see the reason why, any benefit these substances may have are countered by much more severe long-term drawbacks. Coffee? Most people I know get headaches if they don't drink coffee in the morning. Weed? All the pot heads I know have the brain of a goldfish with alzheimers. Alchohol? Not really keen on experiencing a hangover, plus I don't like the thought of losing control over my own actions. Smoking? The science speaks for itself on that one; highly increased risk of many nasty diseases, early onset of alzheimers, COPD, cancer, etc.
