Anyone have thoughts on whether this paper is legit? It basically states that topical iodine solution applied daily to scar tissue can result in regeneration.

I've been trying it on an old surgical scar and have noticed hair growth occurring on the scar tissue just as the paper said would happen. To my knowledge hair does not normally grow on scar tissue?

I'm skeptical because if this is true, why isn't it mentioned anywhere in scar treatment?
