I'm a mathematician of sorts but I've had a knack for chemistry and biology from an early age, although I might be a couple of years rusty.

After some bad experiences over the last few months regarding death (not covid related) I am tired of being helpless, I wanna do something besides what the average person can do in the face of desease but I wish not to become a medical professional as I am as interested in the medical practice as one would be keen on peeling oranges for a living.

I have decided to start expanding my knowledge on how poison acts on the body and what sort of plants or chrmicals may aid in the denaturalization processes of toxins, I have some vague knowledge that adipose tissue plays a huge role in the absorption process of poison so that the body may have more time to clean blood but I would like to get down and dirty learning about the different kinds of poison/venom and its effects on animals.
Do any of you have any books I could use as guides on the topic?
