Each of them has their own digestive system that absorbs the vitamins from the food that it's being given to them so if you feed the head while having everyone else tied to it and unable to receive nutrition through any other way it's highly likely that the end of this abomination will die. In order for it to work you'd have to change their very biology but that's gonna be insanely difficult. Imagine having to modify blood vessels so that they'd irrigate 3 pairs of lungs,trying to synchronize 3 hearts etc. It'd be easier to create an artificial one than to sacrifice 3 people for it.
