If you work with arrays, you go to R. You need some whacky bio data normalization, thats R. Scikit steals features from R. Boruta used to be an R only package until 3 yrs ago or so. You could do interactive graphs long b4 vega or plotly. Horvath did his aging clock in R.
R is what real chads use, other languages are for code monkeys.
I hate R, but I hate fags getting filtered by it even more.

it's mostly that really. that and everything about the language is designed to leverage the matrix math libraries, so it's not very efficient if you're not turning your programs into matrix multiplication problems

I use both R and Python, and they both have their strengths. Straight up statistical analysis or creating a dashboard really quickly? R ftw. Deploying a machine learning model? That's gonna be Python dog.

Plus dyplr btfos pandas for data cleaning manipulation, I really wish there a Python package which was as intuitive. I know pandas fairly well but it's a clusterfuck compared to dyplr imo.
