why do women gather so much fat on their butt? scientifically, what’s the point? wouldn’t it be and evolutionary disadvantage for women i.e. can’t run as fast from predators or enemies, can’t fight as good due to extra weight etc

It's probably just the result of natural selection if the men in a culture did prefer to breed with young women that have nice butts for long enough. For a woman to already have a nice round butt as a teenager means that she has the genes for an even bigger butt when she gets older.

The most competent and dominant men back in hunter gatherer societies were 5'5" skinny guys.
