I hate it when my undergrad math classes claim to be "rigorous"
Yes, math is not subjective hippy shit. In fact, there are systems of mathematical logic that are so rigorous that they can be checked by a computer. But the math that 99% of mathematicians use is nowhere near that level of rigor because it doesn't have to be. Nothing you learn in undergrad classes or even graduate school unless you're literally doing a PhD in mathematical logic is even close to actually rigorous. The concept of "rigor" which is thrown around in math education all the time is ultimately arbitrary. It is used to justify ambiguous questions.
