How is Trunk-or-Treat any safer than Trick-or-Treat? My neighborhood and every neighborhood in my area has banned normal Trick-or-Treating and has instead organized big communal Trunk-or-Treat events.
The excuse is obviously Covid. But I don't see how handing candy out from the back of your car poses any lower transmission risk than handing candy out from your front door.
Any biofags care to chime in on this? Am I missing any obvious transmission vectors other than the doorbell?
