Someone posted this query on /x/ and I would like to redefine this to a higher category of question:
Is it possible that the physics of our universe are defined recursively such that if we were to find the machinery outside of our universe which computes it, and then we were to find the outer machinery that computes that, and so on and so forth, that eventually the outermost machine would be inside our own universe?
