>galileo drops two objects of different masses off leaning tower of pisa
>they hit the ground at the same time therefore weight has nothing to do with how fast an object falls
Can someone explain this to me? Intuitively, gravity will have a greater effect on a heavier object, so why arent heavier objects pulled to the ground more quickly? In a vacuum wouldnt two objects with large masses collide much more quickly than objects with small masses due to having stronger gravitational fields?
