What is the best way to represent this data? I'm asking because my supervisor is extremely demeaning and I am unable to ask him for help, yet he expects everything done as he wants. We are optimizing a new way to analyze contractility of cells using an optical flow program. We added a drug which decreases contraction to prove we can analyze this parameter. Normally I just do a before and after as the graphs show, but these are arbitrary units, since we don't know exactly what we are measuring. This may be a dumb question, but I can just do a paired T test since these are intra comparisons correct? If there is a better way to show the data and I show this, my supervisor will get angry.
