>>12258074Unless you go to another country, no one is required to get the Polio vaccine. That being said, there's a lot of misinformation in that sentiment. Most rates of death from disease, disease rates, etc. had consistently declined to the point where they were almost zero in the general population before a single one of the vaccines came out. At most the vaccines where an afterthought in the grand scheme, something someone in the USA, Canada, or Europe may not need at all but would need if they wanted to go to particular East Asian countries, Africa, etc.
