What's the best way to fix an asphalt pothole if I have no access to asphalt patches, tar or whatever? Will just filling it with cement do or what? What's the supposed thinking that goes into it?

It depends how big it it and how much traffic is going over it. Cement patches tend to pop out. Climate matters too.

its kinda fun

this hospital i grew up near had a parking lot that had a singular payment machine
we used to use different aerosol foam and shit like that to gunk the fuck out of it and they would have to replace the whole thing
they replaced it a few times, then put a guard out there, we kept getting at it, so they just got rid of it and let people park there for free

just get some and melt it into the hole with some gravel

better yet just melt down part of the road elsewhere and use that instead
