Like, would an advanced alien civilization also be using electricity to get things done? Or is it possible to use things like gravity in something like a "circuit" to create complex calculating machines?

Sorry if this is really dumb, but it's been on my mind for some time and I'm too much of a brainlet to understand fundamnetal/advanced science topics. :(
