i feel the same re:curious about a variety
i find you have to section things out and give them a stage to act on for a time
then after you've learned a sufficient amount, you put the lens somewhere else

I don't know how to make the violin not sound scratchy. Then I start watching videos about moving the soundpost but I will never do it because I don't have the tool. Then I say "I'll never make this sound right". Besides, I may like the sound but it's too noisy.
