Drought is just a technical term for less rainwater than expected. It doesn’t actually indicate a shortage of water. Also we can easily desalinate if our government wasn’t so retarded but I imagine if things were dire we would just do that. West coast will be fine...they have shit loads of groundwater in the Mojave and places like Cali and AZ actually get their water from the Colorado River, not locally

The hilarious thing is there is nothing they can do to stop it. Even if CO2 levels were returned to pre-industrial levels California would STILL get hotter and drier, because that's the way it nearly always is.

California is well and truly fucked and there is no a single thing anybody can do about it. Their politicians probably know the situation is futile and instead of admitting that choose to placate the public by telling them to recycle more or bullshit like that, as though anything could help.
