look up Einstein’s Equations.

that’s how it works. even string theory predicts the same thing (with corrections only occurring at energies that will never be reached by humans, realistically).

the equations show how it works. normies and undergrads have a hard time with this—they demand heuristic explanations in terms of pokémon or legos or facebook likes, because they refuse to learn math and study equations. but ultimately the equation is the answer and the mouth-flapping about it is useless
