That being said, inborn talent isn't necessary to contribute great things to society. This mooks got it completely backwards - people believe there's no such thing as inborn talent so they don't have to face the reality of never being able to match the once-in-a-generation true geniuses, and only stop bothering to perpetuate this feel-good bullshit once they've grown enough to understand that not being the best at something is never a reason to not do something.
