If you are trying to farm goats, having some fall over and wait for you to kill them is pretty handy. You want to breed those ones over the normal ones, the selective pressure (human action) here favors the retard-goat.

Since the correct answer has already been given, I will use my post to point out that the goats do not actually faint, their muscles just freeze up uselessly. Older goats with this defect are able to limp away on stiff legs.
