There is one consciousness throughout all existence, or you could say infinite, doesn't matter really. The point is that consciousness is its own phenomenon so if you try to identify "your" consciousness its like you're trying to identify "your" gravity, but you don't have one, there just is gravity and you experience how gravity feels like in an individual context. Identity is just a construction of a useful tracking system, but it is an illusion.
