Genetics and Race

Hey /sci/, I’m getting a lot of contradictory information about the science of race on the internet. What is the general consensus about the physiological/genetic component of race?

>inb4 “there is no race, only the Human race”

Please no retarded /pol/ type answers or social justice bullshit, I don’t care to hear any of your hot takes on what matters, what doesn’t, etc. - just the science grounded in what can and cannot be tested.

Example questions getting to the heart of what I want to know:
>Could you tell from the skeletal remains of someone who lived 10,000 years ago whether they were of African, European, Asian, etc. descent?

>Does someone’s ethnic background impact their risk of certain diseases? What about medical treatment?

Expert opinions in particular are welcome, so feel free to drop your background if it’s relevant. Thanks.
