Yes, but I mean a single prosthetic leg with all the properties (walking, running, swimming, jumping and feeling etc.) of an average biological leg.

Also, prosthetic legs usually can be quite painful to walk in because it can create blisters, skin infections and skin sores via the amputated leg rubbing against the socket. Not to mention the issues surrounding ‘phantom pain’, which can last years after receiving the amputation.

If you have a single prosthetic leg, it's never going to be better than having real legs because even if the single prosthetic becomes better than the real one, then it will be held back by the capabilities of the real one. You would have to have two prosthetic legs to become better, if you're cutting off body parts to replace them with mechanical ones, you're turning into a cyborg.

Define "superior". I feel like what you consider "superior" is a very quantitative and instrumentalist "I can do X Y% Z" or something. If you aren't a bugman prosthetic will never be better. If you are, then soon you can cut off your God-given legs for prosthetic so you can quickly traverse the workplace for peak efficiency for your boss' profit.
