>was he right about the singularity
>unironically asking this question
My position was that momentum is always conserved. All of my early stuff comes from conservation of momentum. It was everyone else supposing that there was a magic time in the early universe when momentum wasn't conserved whose position was physically radical. My idea was physically conservative, starkly physically conservative, and yet it remains something considered radical as evidenced by the above green text.
Therefore, because my idea is that the singularity conserves momentum like everything else, it is stupid to ask, "Was he right that momentum is always conserved?," when a much better question is, "How were all these other people able to think even for a moment that the solution imposing conserved momentum is not automatically better than the ones they've been working with?" This second question exposes the sausage making in physics: even though it would have been obvious that the momentum conserving solution is better, they still denied it! They have haters inside the sausage factory. Nasty stodgy codgerly ones, who are likely grumps as well.
