Not science, but actually useful for categorizing personality tropes/types within fiction. For using in real life, it can help determine how people generally act, but is mostly just silly fun and not an absolute say on anything.
I was INTJ my entire life but people always claimed I was arrogant, and confrontational, and certainly not shy and quiet. Realized I was answering how I thought I acted and not how I really acted, got ENTJ ever since. Finally I relate to "my type", but I still don't relate to other "ENTJs" though. They all seem nothing like me, usually too weak, soft, focused on keeping up with the Jones's and other normie shit. I really think they're ESTJs, according to the system as I read it. The internet claims Joe Rogan is an ENTJ, but how? He clearly acts mostly like ESTP. I do not relate to him at all.
This is the problem with it. People just answer how they feel or think they are versus how they actually are. Many "INTJs" are really ISTJs, many "ENTJs" are merely ESTJs (due to N representing "creativity" to normies and them influencing their type to correlate with such a desirable trait). I myself scored as ENFJ a month ago and it was because I was feeling emotional that day. I admit that mistake and had to take it again. Most people do not. They try to get what they think they are and influence the test accordingly. At the end of the day, no one will ever understand you, nor will a test made by humans ever be able to "describe" you, unless of course you're an npc.
