The only compelling non-meme arguments so far. I agree he's a bit repetitive, but knowing the targets he's aiming at, I'm not issues with that. Fighting the ever growing stupidity (creationism, flatearthers, 3rd wave feminists, sjws, pseudoscience, corporate shills, etc... + what comes next) requires constant bashing and debunking, and thus, it becomes repetitive.

Most of his arguments are fine but he lacks charisma, which shouldn't matter for science but humans are wired to value charisma. A bit of time spent on personal grooming would help a lot.
The real problem is that he sounds like a wannabe bully. His targets almost always are deserving of criticism and mockery but he comes off as someone who's doing it to knock others down below him so he can feel superior instead of doing it to inform his viewers. That doesn't mean he needs to be monotone and read off lists of facts without emotion but a bit more focus on the data and less on poorly delivered mockery would make his videos easier to watch.

Some of his criticisms of the hyperloop are bullshit. It's a technically complex idea,and like all major infrastructure project concepts has a lot of risks baked in given all the government systems you need to work together to make something like that happen,but it's not an unworkable death trap scam. At this point i think a hyperloop will be built, but whether they catch on is up in the air.

He's obviously ignorant of the phenomenon known as "rational irrationality." It doesn't matter if you debunk somebody when there is no consequences for being wrong about something. People will keep on believing whatever they believe in no matter how much evidence is presented against them due to this phenomenon. So all of his "debunking" is a huge waste of time.

He is a holdover from the 2008-2015 era of atheist/anti-sjw youtubers that got their notoriety on calling out obvious bullshit. Now that type of content is tired and most have moved on, he hasn't. Now he just hangs onto the same three subjects he calls bullshit and tries to debunk recently published papers that gain some public recognition (e.g Venusian phosphine) despite the fact he doesn't actually read the paper and isn't versed in the field it covers.

In the case with someone like Anita, I think it's less about convincing her to drop her grift and more to make neutral parties aware of the insanity that she's pushing. She's not going to stop because she loses her income if she does. However others can be mentally immunized against the kinds of emotional blackmail these types use to browbeat good-natured people into handing them undeserved power and resources.

I decided I didn't like him after I saw how much he focuses on certain topics. A single 20 minute video could totally debunk most of projects he goes over, but instead he drags it on with a dozen videos over the years that always say the same thing.

Like solar freakin' roadways. It was a bullshit project, sure. But it doesn't warrant making 14 fucking videos about it like this he has done.
